It all makes one wonder how far out the next breakthrough will have to be. I just saw Cloverfield (surprisingly impressive movie) and much of the marketing / hype surrounding it was unconventional and innovative (e.g., the Slusho! drinks [the company Rob is moving to Japan to work for] which were also in “Alias,” websites like 1-18-08.com and Jamielovesteddy.com, etc. — much like the “alternate reality game” accompanying Nine Inch Nails’ Year Zero).
